Johnson Law Firm was established in 2004 in Ogden, Utah, when two attorneys broke from a Salt Lake City boutique law firm. Our focus has always been on the client. Clients feel like family to us and we treat them as if they are. We strive to provide the personal service of a small firm with the experience and quality of a larger firm. Member of Utah State Bar (1996); U.S. District Court; Weber County Bar Association.
Mr. Johnson’s practice focuses on business and estate planning for individuals and small business owners. He also advises individuals and businesses in business transactions and commercial real estate transactions and development. He has represented clients in stock and asset purchases and sales, entity governance, real estate purchases and sales, tax deferred exchanges, leasing, evictions, real estate financing, and foreclosures. Mr. Johnson was formerly in-house counsel for one of the largest shopping center Real Estate Investment Trust Companies in the country. In that capacity, he handled transactions involving several billion dollars in asset value.
Mr. Johnson has previously been a member of the board of directors of several nonprofit corporations, including Habitat for Humanity, Ogden Community Foundation , Weber State University Alumni Association, and the Western Alliance for Youth Sports. He is also a member of the Order of Barristers and was a pupil member of the Puget Sound Chapter of the American Inns of Court during law school (1993-94).
